Amazing really he's one of the few not getting injured. Much as I would like to see him off our books, there's little chance of any other mug taking a chance on Carroll even if we let him go for a nominal fee. Being realistic, we are stuck with him until the summer of 2019 at a cost of between 14 and 15 million smackers.
Not even the fat bastard up north wants him anymore.

Was very good in the 2nd half against Man U. Looked to me like Slav had a word with the players who'd been firing somewhat aimless long balls in his general direction all 1st half, to the exclusive benefit of Chris Smalling.

2nd half, he got a lot more balls to feet and chest. Some really lovely touches, helped reduce the pressure on us big time. I think it'll have done his confidence a world of good. Looking forward to seeing him play Saturday.
